I am not against a supermarket in Southwell but this proposed site would be putting the area at further risk of flooding.

There has been a fair amount of money spent on this area recently and the flooding risk has not been tested as yet.

This site is also next to the Minster School, leisure centre and rugby club, exiting and entering on an already busy and dangerous area.

The industrial estate at the opposite end of the town would make more sense for building the supermarket.

The 133 responses received in Sainsbury’s consultation is less than 2% of the population of Southwell. — R. DIXON, via email.
