Nottinghamshire: Would-be thieves captured hiding in darkness among reeds by police dogs




Would-be thieves were captured hiding in darkness among reeds in water by police dogs.

The suspects sneaked into Nottinghamshire to try and steal a vehicle from a rural village last night.

The vehicle was located within minutes and followed into South Yorkshire where officers were joined by operational support.

With the use of a stinger police stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver.

Sherwood Police wrote on Facebook: "Now, trying to hide in the darkness and use the cover of reeds and water will not stop our furry colleagues from catching you."
