Art was seen in Unusual Places in Southwell.
An opticians isn't a place one would normally expect to find fine art, but this was an unusual display in Southwell.
Andrew Spybey Opticians decided to have a go at the American craze called Art In Unusual Places, where artwork is displayed in a slightly different public place.
The idea came about when optometrist Adam Holland was talking to artists Kris Mercer and Tony Moss about where they'd like to display their art work next and they both said they wanted to display it somewhere different.
So Adam offered them space in the practice, located on Church Street, to display their art and also to give locals the opportunity to look around the practice building.
Adam said: "The practice is set in a really old building and people don't normally get the opportunity to wander round it, so having Tony and Kris's art work allowed people to have a look around too.
"The idea went down really well and lots of people came in to have a look. I think it's definitely something we'd like to do again."
