Among Newark area Nottingham Magistrates' Court listings include assault on paramedic and possession of hammer

A WOMAN who assaulted a paramedic has been sentenced to a six-month community order, despite already serving a suspended prison sentence, by Nottingham magistrates.

Gemma Allen, of Wharf Gardens, Bingham, must get treatment for an alcohol dependency.

She must also pay compensation to the paramedic of £75 and court costs of £180.
