Newark man banned from driving for three years after using BMW under the influence of cannabis in Skegness with young children in the back seat

A holidaymaker in Skegness has been banned from driving for three years after using his BMW under the influence of cannabis with young children in the back seat.

Jordan Jason Barras, of Churchill Drive, Newark, escaped more serious punishment for driving while disqualified because he didn't know he had to take an extended driving test before being allowed back on the roads.

He was spotted by police in Ingoldmells, Skegness, on September 15 last year at around 12.40pm, with two small children in the car, said Jim Clare, prosecuting at Boston Magistrates’ Court.
