Nottinghamshire Police appeal for information after damage to bench and toilets in Southwell




A spate of anti-social behaviour has seen more damage in Southwell.

Overnight on Tuesday, September 17, the toilets on Church Street have been damaged where the water tank was broken and the male toilets closed, Southwell Town Council said at the full council meeting on Wednesday (September 18).

A bench was also set fire to in Norwood Gardens.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: “We are aware of reports of picnic tables being set on fire at a play area in Southwell.

“Anyone who witnessed what happened or has any information that could assist the police should report it via 101, quoting incident 270 of 18 September 2024.”
