The Big Newark Sleep Out returns to the YMCA Newark and Sherwood to help homeless charities including Newark Emmaus Trust, supported by Buttercross Estates.
A charity event raising awareness and funds for homeless charities is returning.
After the success of last year’s event, the Big Newark Sleep Out is returning, in support of Newark Emmaus Trust and the YMCA Robin Hood Group.
The event will take place on March 8, from 7pm, at the YMCA Sport and Activity Village on Lord Hawke Way.
The sleep out raised over £16,000 for charity in 2023, with dozens of individuals and businesses taking part for a night of sleeping out in the cold, in solidarity with those that have nowhere to go and are forced onto the street.
Money raised has gone towards helping vulnerable people experiencing homelessness in the community to regain stability and independence.
