Reader’s letter: Bikes no benefit to town centre

So Paul Peacock is pleased to hear the Tour of Britain cycle race is back. The whole town will be ring fenced by 7am to accommodate something that happens at 4pm.

Allegedly thousands turn up for a fantastic event.

In view of what has happened previously I will brace myself for my town centre business to suffer to the tune of a 70% drop in takings.
