Bodycare, replacing Superdrug unit on Stodman Street, Newark, looks set to open
Bodycare on Stodman Street looks almost set to open with staff in and out the store, and stock filling the shelves.
You can now see inside the new store that is to replace the old Superdrug unit after paper was taken down from the windows at the weekend.
The simple silver and black logo was added to the front in August.
It means Newark will soon have another shop where they can purchase toiletries as well as health and beauty products, at a time when several town centre stores have shut for good.
Bodycare has not yet confirmed to the Advertiser when the shop is to open.
Bodycare is part of GR & MM Blackledge plc founded in 1970 and has since expanded to employing more than 1,500 workers across its 130 stores — making a turnover of more than £130m in 2015.
The company also has an online click and collect service called bodycareplus.com where customers can find additional ranges of products.
