Books to be given away

Forty free books are being given away at Southwell Library tonight as part of World Book Night.

Staff will hand out Zigzag: The Incredible Wartime Exploits of Double Agent Eddie Chapman by Nicholas Booth.

There will also be literary debates and quizzes, and cheese and wine will be served.

The event starts at 7pm.

During the day there will be free story sessions with children to celebrate the Dr Seuss books including The Cat in the Hat, and Green Eggs and Ham.
