Boy, 2, escapes life-threatening injuries after collision with vehicle in Middlebeck, Newark




A two-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after an incident in Newark.

Nottinghamshire Police were called at 12.10pm today (Saturday, October 12) to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a two-year old boy on Yarnsworth Road, Middlebeck.

Police responded to the incident to assist ambulance crews and identify the driver of the vehicle at the scene.

The boy was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Officers are not currently treating the collision as a criminal matter and they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
