A Severn Trent spokesperson said: “We’re really sorry for the issues customers in Southwell have faced this week, as our teams have been dealing with repairing a burst pipe on Kirklington Road.

"Our teams on site have been tankering to get supplies back on while they work on replacing the section of pipe that’s been causing the issues.

"Again, we’re really sorry to anyone who’s supply has been disrupted, but we’re hopeful that by replacing the pipe, it will prevent any further issues on the network.
