Prince Rupert Pub in Newark not to close owner RedCat Pubs confirms

Townsfolk are expected to breathe a sigh of relief upon hearing that a popular pub is not in danger of closing anytime soon.

A spokesman who works with RedCat Pubs, the company who own the Prince Rupert Pub in Newark has confirmed that it will be business as usual for the Newark landmark.

The RedCat Pub Company recently announced that several of its pubs would be put into administration or up for sale.

The historic Newark pub which operates on Stodman Street has been there since 1452.
