Newark member of Parliament Robert Jenrick nominated Lucretia Henry-Brewin, the owner of Village Chic, for the MP HERoes Award





A business owner has been nominated for an award by the area’s Member of Parliament.

Robert Jenrick, Member of Parliament for Newark, said he was delighted to announce the nomination of Lucretia Henry-Brewin, the owner of Village Chic, for the MP HERoes Award.

This recognition celebrates outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities.

In nominating Lucretia for the HERoes MP Award, Robert Jenrick, Newark MP said:

"It is my absolute pleasure to nominate Lucretia Henry-Brewin, owner of Village Chic in Newark for the MP HERoes award.

"Lucretia created Village Chic 16 years ago which is not only known for its antique furniture, paints and home accessories, but also the beautifully painted murals that adorn the shop front which change regularly to support the numerous charities and events in and around Newark.

"I am sure that you all look forward to the next mural as much as I do and that the Charities she supports through her work are greatly appreciative of all that she does."

Lucretia's dedication to Newark exemplifies the spirit of this nomination and award added Mr. Jenrick.
