Calls for urgent health centre meeting

Town councillors are calling for an urgent meeting with health chiefs to discuss their concerns relating to the building of a new health centre in Bingham.

A motion proposed by Mr Francis Purdue-Horan to request a meeting was unanimously supported at a Bingham Town Council meeting on Tuesday.

Mr Purdue-Horan said: "Since October we have not had any formal contact or update from the primary care trust as to where they are. As far as we know formally the chosen site is in Mill Hill and there's speculation of the other sites."
