A collision at the Lord Ted roundabout at Farndon is causing heavy traffic

There has been a collision at a busy roundabout in Newark, causing long delays.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to the Lord Ted/A46 Farndon roundabout at 9.24am this morning (Tuesday) following reports of a collision.

It has been confirmed that a car has crashed into the roundabout, and police are currently working to clear the scene.


No-one was injured in the incident, but the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Traffic is heavy in the area, so motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
