Newark’s Motorfinity reported total savings of £9.5 million over the past 12 months for frontline workers

A car dealer has reported total savings of £9.5 million over the past 12 months for frontline workers.

Newark’s Motorfinity gives the UK’s current and retired workers in sectors including the armed forces, education, and social care exclusive offers on discounted cars with an average saving of £7,000 per car in 2024.

Daniel Briggs, chief executive at Motorfinity, said: “We celebrated eight years in business in 2024, and reflecting on the journey we’ve had so far, it’s been fantastic to be able to support so many frontline workers over the years.

“I’m immensely proud of our team and our offering and look forward to building on this in 2025.

“The UK’s frontline workers are the backbone of everything we do at Motorfinity and from the moment we launched, it’s always been our mission to give back to the thousands of workers who work tirelessly to keep the nation safe and moving – often in very high-pressured environments.

“As well as saving them money, we ease their minds by making it as simple as possible to purchase a car – something that many people see as being much more than just a way to get from A to B, but vital for allowing them to carry out their work effectively.”

The company also reported that 42% of Motorfinity’s sales in 2024 were electric or hybrid cars, with compact SUVs, followed by hatchbacks being the most popular type of model.

As well as offering support through its exclusive discounts, each year Motorfinity also commits to taking part in a range of charity initiatives.

Last year’s efforts saw the team partner with key charities and causes including PTSD 999 and the Newark Patriotic Fund. Nationally, the company also pledged approximately £15,000 to the Blue Light Card Foundation by donating £10 from each car sold, a pledge that will be continuing into 2025.

Over the course of 2025, Motorfinity looks to build on these efforts and has committed to supporting a range of key community initiatives, including the Newark Patriotic Fund, PTSD999, and the Blue Light Card Foundation.

Daniel continued: “Our frontline workers, across all sectors, are at the heart of our day-to-day life and we know how important it is to give back and support the initiatives that matter the most to them.

“2025 will see us expand our horizons even further, with our aim the same – to support and celebrate the UK’s key workers.”
