Staff and residents at a care home marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Edingley Lodge, Edingley raised funds throughout the month as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Staff and residents dressed in pink as part of the Wear It Pink fundraising event.

They held a pink-themed bake sale, organised a sponsored walk, and created pink-inspired art, and flowers arranged with pink flowers, decorated the home pink and held a tea dance.

General manager, Jilu Stephen said: “Breast cancer is a cause close to many of our staff and residents’ hearts so everyone was keen to take part in fundraising activities and do their bit.
