Fitness business owner organised fundraising event at Newark Golf club for Beaumond House Hospice Care

More than 80 people attended a fitness fundraising event at Newark Golf Club.

Tracy Ferguson — owner of Sit, Get Fit, Get Healthy — raised over £1,200 for Beaumond House Hospice Care.

After seeing a Facebook post of the charity appealing for support to buy four syringe drivers for the care home, Tracy decided to host the event and club owner Rob Hall donated the space to host it.

Members of Tracy classes were joined by golfers, friends and family for one hour of chair-based exercises.

“It was amazing. We exercised for the whole hour to great music. Everyone was singing, it was a fantastic atmosphere,” said Tracy.
