LEARN MOREOpinions are being sought on two potential designs for a town’s new skatepark.
Southwell Town Council is inviting residents and skatepark-users to have a say on the two designs for the park.
The skatepark regeneration aims to provide a space that is inclusive for skateboards, bikes and scooters and acessible for wheelchair users, deaf and blind skaters and people with learning difficulties.
It is hoped to create a destination skatepark for residents and visitors, and enhance the visual appeal of the site.
The designs include a range of features including quarterpipes, rails and stairs alongside seating and viewpoints for spectators.
A questionnaire is available on the council's website for park-users to have their say on their favourite design.
The council also held a consultation a the Market Square to showcase the designs.
