Chance for Farndon residents to meet with police and Newark and Sherwood District Council’s anti-social behaviour team at beat surgery

A police team’s beat surgery is to take place tomorrow, giving residents a chance to speak with officers have their bikes marked for free.

Nottinghamshire Police’s Farndon beat team will be at the Farndon Memorial Hall between 4pm and 7pm tomorrow (Thursday, August 22), alongside Newark and Sherwood District Council’s anti-social behaviour team.

Residents can drop in to meet the teams, have a chat, and raise any concerns they may have.

Officers will also be carrying out free pedal bike marking using the National Bike Register app.

Bike marking can make it easier for police to reunite stolen cycles with their owners and also help deter thieves.
