Bilsthorpe man to appear at Nottingham Crown Court charged with causing man to engage in sexual activity without consent

A man is to appear at crown court charged with intentionally causing someone to engage in sexual activity when no consent was given.
Daniel Hibberd, 28, of North Drive, Bilsthorpe, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court today but was told the case could only be dealt with at Nottingham Crown Court.
The charge stated that between January 1 and December 31, 2019, Hibberd intentionally caused a man aged 16 or over to engage in sexual activity involving penetration when consent wasn't given.
A pre-trial preparation hearing will be held at Nottingham Crown Court on May 5.
Hibberd was granted unconditional bail.
