National Police Aid Charity based Old Pit Head Baths on Crown Farm Industrial Park, Mansfield is appealing the public for help
A charity is appealing to the public for help in finding a warehouse so it can continue to provide educational and medical donations to Africa.
National Police Aid Charity provides donations mainly to Zambia, The Gambia, Malawi and Zanzibar, although it has sent items to Ukraine in the past year.
For nine years it was based at the Old Pit Head Baths on Crown Farm Industrial Park, Mansfield, but has been asked to leave the premises by the end of June.
It is now urgently looking for a building to store donations such as school tables, chairs, cupboards, hospital beds, wheelchairs and walking aids.
Volunteers also pack donations of books, medical items, stationery and school and sports clothing, which are loaded into a 40ft shipping container about once a month.
Anyone who can source a warehouse or help in other ways should email enq@npac.org.uk or call 0844 8701 999.
