Reader's letter: Chief concern
Chief Constable Craig Guilford states that the present police station is, and always was, under-utilised.
I am sure it was designed to meet not only the requirements of the day, but also with future expansion of the town in mind.
It therefore clearly demonstrates how resources have been taken away over the years.
That said, if there really is capacity within the station, why not draw in the ambulance station from its old premises across the road and share costs? — ALAN INGHAM, Balderton.
