After a spectacular flypast over Buckingham Palace to celebrate 100 years of the RAF, nine jets from the Red Arrows turned the sky red, white and blue over a nursery at Staunton.

The aircraft were returning to their base at RAF Scampton after the RAF 100 Flypast over London on Tuesday.

The head of the Montessori Nursery School at Staunton, Mr Robert Staunton said: “After the flyover in London and the significance of the day I am astonished that our little school was part of this historic event.”
