Youngsters are taking part in jumping, skipping and dancing activities to raise money for charity.

This month pupils at Holy Trinity Infants’ School, Southwell, are taking part in a sponsored workout to raise money for the NSPCC.

The children can take part in activities at home or at school to raise money for the charity.

Parents and staff took part in an exercise session in the school playground last week to warm-up for the event.

The school’s office manager, Mrs Alison Davies, said taking part encouraged children to exercise while raising money for the charity.

She said: “Taking part in the exercise session with parents on Thursday morning was a good way to start the day off well.”
