A pupil at John Hunt Primary Academy, Balderton won a Christmas card competition organised by Barratt Homes which delivered the cards to residents at Fernwood Village development
A pupil won a Christmas card competition to help spread festive cheers to members of the community.
The competition which took place at John Hunt Primary Academy, Balderton, was organised by Barratt Homes.
The competition was to design a Christmas card which would then be delivered to customers at Fernwood Village development off Phoenix Way.
Six-year-old Elsa was crowned the winner and presented with an art kit prize for her festive design.
Gemma Smith, teacher at John Hunt Primary Academy, said: “This was a lovely opportunity for the children to be creative and to produce a design for a card that would be sent out to homes within the local community.”
Mark Cotes, managing director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, said: “It was a pleasure to team up with John Hunt Primary Academy this year to create these wonderful Christmas cards.
“All the entries we received from the talented children were excellent, and we’d like to thank everyone who took part in the competition for their efforts. We hope Elsa will take great pride in knowing she has helped spread festive cheer in the local community.”
