Bingham and District Choral Society choir goes online to entertain

An initiative has been launched by a choir to keep its members connected and informed while apart.

The broadcast series BBC Bingham ­— set up by Bingham and District Choral Society ­— was launched in response to coronavirus to fill a much-needed void.

The fortnightly shows aim to keep members entertained by hosting challenging quizzes, editions of Desert Island Discs featuring known local musicians, an episode of Would I Lie To You where members spin bare-faced lies without a blush, and a behind-the-scenes account of the life of a lay clerk at Southwell Minster.
