Choose local treatment

By NewarkAdvertiser Reporter

I agree with the comments by Doreen Langford about having treatment at Newark Hospital if possible (Podiatry Concern, News Views, July 12).

I am waiting to go in hospital.

I had to go to King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield, for a pre-med. I was told I couldn’t go to Newark.

I went to King’s Mill, and handed my notes to reception. The lady asked what I was doing there as this could have been done at Newark.

Then I had to go for education session physiotherapy — back to King’s Mill, so I changed it to Newark.

Why keep sending people to King’s Mill? Our hospital at Newark is brilliant, as are the staff. — Pat Walker, Balderton (Full address supplied).
