Christmas baby

There was a special Christmas present for a Newark couple when their baby was born two days earlier than expected.

Mrs Sara Bowler of Crown Street, Newark, went into labour on Christmas Eve and with her husband Mr James Bowler by her side gave birth to a little boy on Christmas Day in Lincoln County Hospital.

Mrs Bowler said she was shocked by the baby's early arrival but very happy.
