Visit Nottinghamshire launch 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway to attract tourists to Newark and Nottinghamshire over the festive season
A competition offering a range of events and experiences has been launched to attract visitors to the county.
Visit Nottinghamshire, the tourism board for Newark and Nottinghamshire, has launched its 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway in collaboration with its members to attract more visitors to the region and show off its festive tourism offer.
The competition aims to gain more exposure for Nottinghamshire’s Market towns, boosting tourism in Newark and surrounding areas over the Christmas period.
There are 20 prizes up for grabs covering a range of interests and audiences, including a horse racing season pass, vineyard tours, afternoon tea, theatre tickets, meals out and more.
Two overnight stays are also on offer, giving the lucky winners a luxurious base to explore Nottinghamshire from.
Visit Nottinghamshire’s communications and PR specialist Jack Woolley said: “We’re very pleased to be running a huge giveaway in collaboration with our members again this year and I’d like to thank them for their generosity in providing prizes.
“Every Christmas we run competitions to publicise Nottinghamshire’s strong festive tourism offer, spreading the word across social media and online in the hope to attract more visitors to the region, which includes a boost for our amazing market towns. Our recent giveaway competition with It’s In Nottingham generated over 3,000 entries from both a UK and International audience.
“We have an excellent festive tourism offering here in Nottinghamshire and this is just part of the work we’ve been doing to shout about that offering and to boost exposure for our member organisations. We’re proud to be flying the flag.”
Entries can be submitted online until Tuesday, December 12, to be put into a prize draw and be in with the chance of winning one of the prizes on offer.
Winners will be drawn and contacted on Wednesday, December 13.
