Crafty Betty’s owner sets up online Christmas grotto due to coronavirus lockdown closure




A business has set up an online Christmas grotto after it was forced to close because of the coronavirus lockdown.

Michelle Baker, who runs Crafty Betty’s, off London Road carpark, Newark, said as the shop, studio and tea room were not allowed to open, customers could shop from home through Instagram or Facebook.

She said: “I have worked so hard over the last seven years to build my brand. I constantly strive to adapt the way I run things and at present it seems to change day by day, so please continue to support me if you can.”

Customers can browse items and she will either deliver, post out or arrange click and collect from the studio between noon and 2pm each weekday.

She will also be taking custom orders by email.
