Concerns raised by Southwell church community after decision to charge in formerly free carpark behind the Saracen’s Head Hotel

The Rev Peter Hibberts, of Southwell Methodist Church, said the carpark behind the Saracen’s Head Hotel used to offer free parking for two hours.

It was part of an agreement between Southwell Town Council, the Methodist Church and Greene King, which owns the hotel.
