The London Road Clinic in Newark to hold launch event bringing Hollywood beauty treatments and dermatology knowledge to town
A new clinic is bringing a little bit of the Hollywood lifestyle to Newark.
The London Road Clinic will officially hold its launch event this Thursday (November 16), where visitors will be able to demo the specialist treatments on offer and speak with practitioners.
Despite only opening in February, the clinic has been busy, already attracting returning clients with their bespoke skin, hair and body treatments, following one-to-one consultations.
Clinic director, Lydia Griffin, was trained by dermatologists in Los Angeles and in her 16 years working in the aesthetics profession has worked in the United States, France, Spain, Germany and Greece — but has now chosen to return to the UK and set up her own practice in Newark.
Lydia said: “I’ve done this all over the world and I’ve decided to come back home.
“We always start with a consultation because everybody’s skin is different and we need to work out what will work best for them.
“So having the skills and training is incredibly important to getting the best result and we have a very knowledgeable team.
“It’s an incredibly rewarding job because we help a lot of people whose conditions can really affect their self esteem.
“When we take the photos before and after treatment you can see a real change on their faces and the smiles in their eyes.
“The most important thing to remember is that it’s a journey, we take a client every step of the way and that’s why we have been so successful.”
The clinic caters to everyone from 16-year-olds and older and offers treatments for both men and women ranging from acne, rosacea and other skin conditions to hair loss, anti-aging and fat reduction.
The launch event this Thursday offers visitors an exclusive offer of up to 70% off for selected courses and treatments.
