Superdrug closure on Stodman Street, Newark, branded another blow to high street after controversial closure of Marks and Spencer

The closure of Superdrug has been branded as another blow to Newark town centre’s offering.

The major retailer, whose outlet is on Stodman Street, has confirmed it is due to shut in February.

Kerri Saxby, chairman of Newark Business Club, said she was worried for the future of the town centre.
