Newark and Sherwood District Council to hold meeting for tenants and leaseholders to discuss issues




A council has announced a meeting will take place today for tenants and residents to raise issues and find out what is happening in their area.

Newark and Sherwood District Council will be holding a community link group meeting today (Wednesday) at Beaumont Walk in Newark between 1 and 2pm.

A spokesman from the council said that the meeting provides an opportunity for tenants and residents to have their voice heard.

“We have got a Community Link Group meeting taking place today,” said the spokesman.

“Why not join us to find out what's going on in your area?”

The group provides a forum for tenants and leaseholders to raise issues that are important to them with officers and councillors from the district council in attendance.

Light refreshments will be available and there is no need to book a place at these meetings, residents can just attend if they wish.
