Consultation starts on Saint-Gobain Formula proposal to expand Bantycock Quarry, south of Newark




A gypsum quarry on the outskirts of Newark is looking to further expand so it can mine another five million tonnes of untapped mineral.

Bantycock Quarry, south of Newark, is operated by plaster and gypsum manufacturer Saint-Gobain Formula.

Gypsum extraction operations at Bantycock Quarry are progressing north in the direction of Fernwood and Balderton.
