Cooling facial toning treatment at Philosophy Hair and Beauty Co salon on Cartergate, Newark, was a success

I was intrigued when I entered the Philosophy Hair and Beauty Co salon on Cartergate for my CACI appointment.

As this would be my first CACI experience, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, particularly as I hadn’t heard of that type of treatment before.

I was booked in to have the Eye Revive treatment, which uses a microcurrent to lift and firm muscles where eyelid definition may be lost.

Business owner Heather Gregory explained the process to me following my free consultation, and I soon followed her into the beauty room to begin.

Heather’s treatment room was the perfect place to spend a relaxing hour after a busy week. Dark and candlelit, I instantly felt relaxed.

The Eye Revive came in several parts, targetting areas such as the eyebrows, frown lines and skin around the eyes using LED technology.

All CACI treatments are non-invasive and designed to offer an alternative to botox and filler, while still offering a similar effect.

Although slightly sceptical to begin with, the feeling of the cold serum-filled rollers on my face was certainly a mood booster.

Heather began offering CACI treatments at the Philosophy Hair and Beauty Co salon in April this year after receiving CACI herself for 15 years.

“It’s been going well. We’ve had good business so far,” Heather said.

Heather offers four different types of treatments, which include a signature facial, gel lift, eye revive and a electro cellulite massage.
