Coronavirus cases in Newark and Sherwood increase to 13,330 today (Wednesday, September 22) according to Public Health England
New coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the district, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

In the last seven days there have been 350 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood.
In the latest 24-hour period, no new deaths have been reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 215.
According to the latest public data, 7,496,543 (up 31,564) patients in the UK have tested positive and 135,455 (up 203) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to September 20 is 48,617,703 (up 24,684) and the total for the second dose is 44,512,572 (up 46,451).
