Newark and Sherwood District Council reminds residents to register for the upcoming combined election by April 16

A council is encouraging residents to vote in an upcoming election.

Newark and Sherwood District Council announced that registration for the combined mayoral authority and the police and crime commissioner election will close on April 16.

The election will take place on May 2.
