COURT LISTINGS: Newark man given suspended sentence at Nottingham Magistrates' Court and assault on policeman leads to 16-week jail sentence

Nathan Webb, 28, of Cross Street, Newark, was sentenced to eight weeks in custody, suspended for a year at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
Magistrates were told his offending was born from using others to fund a drug habit.
He was charged with harassing two women at the same address, and rang them as well as attending the address.
The court imposed a restraining order meaning he cannot contact either woman, directly or indirectly on social media, for a year, save through one named individual.
Webb must pay £213 costs.

Loveridge was jailed for a total of ten weeks. The offences were committed while she was on post-sentence supervision for other matters.
Loveridge was also fined £100 for breaching supervision requirements by failing to attend appointments. She was detained at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court for the day in lieu of payment.
