A DRINK-DRIVER who was massively over the limit was banned for 23 months.
Ian Parkes, 37, of Moulton Crescent, Balderton, committed the offence in the village's Lidl carpark.
He blew 109mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.
He was sentenced to a 12-month community order with a rehabilitation requirement at Nottingham Magistrates' Court where he was also fined £269 and told to pay costs amounting to £180 following his guilty plea.
A 19-YEAR-OLD who was marginally over the legal alcohol limit to be behind the wheel was banned from driving 12 months and fined £200.
Fim Thomas-French, of Church Road, Burton Joyce, blew 40mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
He pleaded guilty and must also pay £119 in costs.
A MAN who admitted assault and using threatening behaviour in an incident in Boughton was fined £120 and had the length of a suspended prison sentence extended.
Keegan Garland, 26, of Manners View, Ollerton, had costs of £165 awarded against by magistrates.
He was already serving a suspended prison sentence for assault and public order matters, including the assault of an emergency worker. The length of that suspension was extended from a year to 18 months, meaning that if he offends again, he could be sent to jail.
