COURT: Newark man who drove under influence of cocaine among cases before Nottingham magistrates
This week's Nottingham Magistrates' Court listings have been released.
Cases in the Newark area include a driver banned for 22 months after driving with excessive amounts of cocaine in his system.

A DRIVER whose tinted windows on his Seat were so dark that he posed a risk of injury to others was fined £440 at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
Mohammed Alam, 22, of Orchard Way, Balderton, denied an offence under the Road Traffic Act 1988, but was found guilty following a trial.
He also received three penalty points and was told to pay costs of £244.
MAGISTRATES heard two police officers were assaulted by a man who was drunk.
Nathan Rudd admitted assaulting a sergeant and a constable in an incident at Main Street, Radcliffe. He further admitted he was drunk and disorderly.
Rudd, of Main Street, Radcliffe, was fined £200 by magistrates who also told him to pay each officer £50 compensation and awarded costs of £119 against him.
A DRIVER who refused to give a specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of committing a criminal offence was banned from the roads for three years.
Lauren Austin, 30, care of Green Lane, Lambley, admitted the offence and received a custodial sentence of 16 weeks, suspended for two years.
Austin must also get help for her alcohol dependency.
She was also told to pay costs of £213.
AN UNLICENSED and uninsured driver received a fine of £660 and had costs awarded against him of £151.
Robert Sisson, 37, of Chestnut Drive, Ollerton, admitted the offences, which were committed in Edwinstowe.
DISQUALIFIED driver Alexandru Filip who was caught behind the wheel of a BMW was fined £400 and further banned for five months.
Filip, who admitted the offence and one of having no insurance, was also told to pay £125 in costs.
Filip, 33, was caught on Southfield Terrace, Newark, where he lives.
A DRUG-DRIVER was banned from getting behind the wheel for 22 months.
Timothy Dolan, 32, of Castle View, Tolney Lane, Newark, admitted driving with excessive amounts of cocaine in his system and possession of cannabis.
Dolan was fined £120 and had costs of £119 awarded against him.
