COURT LISTINGS: Thief fined £200 after stealing six packs of miniature military figures and motorist banned for 36 months after drink-driving in Newark

A THIEF who took at least six packs of miniature military figures was fined £200 and told to pay compensation of £60.
Darren Smith, 50, denied theft from Foundry Miniatures Ltd at East Stoke Hall, but was found guilty after a trial at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
Smith, of Bankside, Ordsall, must also pay £400 costs.
DRINK-DRIVER Robertas Kavaliauskas was banned for 36 months and fined £140.
The 29-year-old admitted to blowing 71mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Kavaliauskas, of Nelson Road, Newark, must pay £117 costs.
LEANNE STAFFORD, 36, was fined £120 and banned from the roads after pleading guilty to drink-driving.
Stafford, of Pierson Street, Newark, blew 65mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath and was banned for 17 months.
She had £117 costs awarded against her at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
