Coronavirus cases in Newark and Sherwood rise to 12,903 today (Tuesday, September 14) according to Public Health England
A total of 42 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the district, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Ashfield 15,614 cases (up 53) Bassetlaw 13,736 (up 56) Broxtowe 12,264 (up 31) Gedling 14,221 (up 42) Mansfield 13,925 (up 34) Newark and Sherwood 12,903 (up 42) Rushcliffe 12,955 (up 34) Nottingham city 47,376 (up 70) Nottinghamshire 95,618 (up 292).
In the last seven days there have been 424 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down seven on the previous seven days.
In the latest 24-hour period, no new deaths have been reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 215.
According to the latest public data, 7,256,559 (up 30,825) patients in the UK have tested positive and 134,261 (up 61) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to September 12 is 48,439,272 (up 14,955) and the total for the second dose is 44,048,093 (up 52,615).
