It occurred on the A1 Northbound at Vicarage Lane, North Muskham/Bathley turn off.

Traffic is queueing for two miles and delays of 20 minutes are expected in the area.

The traffic is heading away from Newark towards Carlton on Trent.

Nottinghamshire Road Policing have been reported to be on the scene.
