Crawl for a month on A46

Drivers on the A46 will have to join 10mph convoys on short stretches from Thursday, and the entire road from Farndon to Saxondale roundabout will have a 40mph limit.
The limits will be in place from 9.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, until May 30.
Inspectors will be surveying the road in preparation for laying double solid white lines to stop overtaking at dangerous spots.
The same restrictions will be in force on the A52 from the RSPCA shelter at Radcliffe to Saxondale.
There will be no work on May 23 and May 26.
The Highways Agency, whose contractors, Amscott, are carrying out the work, expect delays of no more than ten minutes.
