Reader's letter: Credit to club

I came back from a wonderful weekend at Wembley with Nottingham Forest and, without knowing the team was there, went to The Botanist in West Bridgford for a bite to eat with friends and family.

Many of the team were there and they were a credit to the club ­— having fun, a few drinks, and they engaged with the fans, signed autographs and posed for selfies.

They were having a great time and were more than happy to share the love...

They really were a lovely bunch of young men and women.

I am a celebrant and Forest fan and I wrote a good luck blessing for the match and took it to Wembley.

I lost my bottle and read it to myself in the concourse and a few of us shared in saying The Prayer For A Red before the kick-off...obviously, it is why we won! ­— JON HARRIS, via email.
