Croquet club open day

There is the chance to learn how to play croquet today when Southwell Croquet Club holds an open day.

The club is based at the Arthur Radford Sports and Gala Sports Ground, Fiskerton, where it has new facilities including a full-sized croquet lawn

Members will be on hand to demonstrate the game and talk about the club.

Membership is open to anyone over 16. Members compete at regional and national level as well as in friendly matches against local clubs.

The open day takes place from 2pm-4.30pm.
