75 new coronavirus cases reported in Newark and Sherwood today (Sunday, October 10) according to Public Health England
A total of 75 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
It takes the total number of cases in the district since the start of the pandemic to 14,653.
In Nottinghamshire, excluding the city, there have been a total of 109,195 up 616 on the previous day.
In Ashfield there have been 17,834 cases (up 109) Bassetlaw 16,007 (up 94) Broxtowe 13,936 (up 69) Gedling 16,021 (up 66) Mansfield 15,882 (up 895) Rushcliffe 14,862 (up 108) and Nottingham city 50,402 (up 125).
In the last seven days there have been 530 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down eight cases on the previous seven days.
In the latest 24-hour period, no new deaths have been reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 221.
According to the latest public data, 8,120,713 (up 34,950) patients in the UK have tested positive and 137,697 (up 133) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to October 8 is 49,132,678 (up 30,944) and the total for the second dose is 45,135,589 (up 28,404).
